QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGN TO EDITING / CODING SERVICES

Friedman Marketing has an experienced staff that can assist you with design and coding services.

Questionnaire design: We can fully design your questionnaire or modify previously existing documents to give you the finest research tools to meet your research objectives. We can advise on issues of structure, biasing, sampling and fielding the questionnaire.

Editing: We have a staff that is adept at editing your questionnaires on various levels. Our field operations have trained editors to edit the surveys while they are still in the field. They have the ability to correct any questionnaire problems and interviewer misunderstandings early in the fielding process. When the surveys are completed our professional staff at our corporate headquarters can edit the surveys for issues of consistency as well as question by question accuracy. This editing process is then completed by machine cleaning the data in the tabulation process.

Coding: Our coding department can handle all of your coding needs from simple list coding to complex open-end coding. We can use your coding guidelines or we can develop the codes for your approval. All of our coding is reviewed by the project director assigned to your project.

COMPLETE FIELDWORK

To field your projects, Friedman's Field and Tab department can access our network of mall facilities throughout United States. If you wish to do research in a field facility that is not in our network, we have relationships with many other field services and can field your studies almost anywhere in the United States.

In fielding your projects, we will serve as your field director. We will brief all of the markets on your study. We will track the progress of your study on a daily basis. We will also print and mail the questionnaires if you desire. We can also collect and check-in all of your questionnaires.

TABULATION & DATA PROCESSING

Friedman Marketing can offer a full range of tabulation services and can present that data in a variety of formats.

Hand Tabulation: Friedman Marketing can provide hand tabulation if you require data in advance of the final results or even while your study is in progress.

Data Entry: We can provide all of the data entry necessary for your projects.

We can supply you with the raw respondent-level data, cleaned respondent-level data or can return the questionnaires to you unprocessed. We can provide the respondent-level data in a variety of formats including ASCII, comma delimited, space delimited, and column binary.

We can also tabulate your data and present it in tabular form with multiple banners and special cross-tabs if necessary. We can also provide standard statistical information including means, medians, standard deviation, standard error, significance testing, and Chi Square. More advanced statistical work is available on request.
